The Teign House Inn will be re-opening on Saturday 4th of July for food, drinks and takeaway. But obviously operating under the current conditions will require some changes to our usual service in order to keep both staff and customers safe:
We will be operating reduced hours and all service, both inside and outside, will be table service only.
We advise booking a table, both inside and outside, as we have had to reduce table numbers to allow customers and staff to socially distance.
Our inside tables can only be booked for a single household, as they are not large enough to allow social distancing.
We may allow 2 families to dine together on one of our larger outside tables, but only if we feel that the families are able to socially distance in the space available.
We have set aside several outside areas as drinking areas. These may be used by a maximum of 6 people at one time, in line with government gathering rules. Social distancing must be observed.
If all tables and drinking areas are taken then we will not be able to serve you as we will have reached capacity.
We have completed a risk assessment and have put various measures in place to protect both staff and customers. We will review and hopefully ease the measures as time goes on. Please click here to view our risk assesment document.
Please bear with the staff, as these measures are new to them too.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
Our contact details are available on the Contact Us page.
Thanks & we hope to see you soon!
